Project: Apple Watch Pride Bay
For this project, I was the lead architectural designer. I was in charge of translating the creative intent into something that could be manufactured and engineered.
Initial Creative Exploration
This process was done in combination with our team and the creative concepts team. We went back and forth on ideas that were feasible and not feasible. The goal was to highlight the upcoming Pride Month watch band.
Refined Creative Intent
After working together, we settled on the final designs for the bay installation.
Prototype Test
Here we sent our manufacturing partner 3D printable files so they could do tests to see if this method would really work.
Fixture Intent
This is the method we use to communicate our designs and engineering details to our manufacturers. For this project, I was the lead architectural designer, meaning this document was done entirely by myself.
More Prototype Evaluation
Here we decided upon one design, and ensured through testing that it met our standards.
